PAN-AFRICAN LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE RECOGNIZED AS OVERALL AFRICA ROLE MODEL ORGANIZATION IN LEADERSHIP
Accra, Ghana - July 6, 2024 - The Pan-African Leadership Institute has been honored as the Overall Africa Role Model Organization in Leadership Development for 2024. The prestigious award was presented at the 15th MTN Pulse Africa Role Model Awards at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
The ceremony was chaired by former Ghanaian President H.E. John Agyekum Kufour, with guest speakers including former President H.E. John Mahama. The award was instituted by the Young Professionals & Youth Coalition (YPYC) Board and Governing Council to recognize and honor exemplary leaders and organizations serving as role models for young leaders in Ghana and across Africa.
During the event, YPYC President Hon. Andy Okrah advised the youth to cultivate humility, vision, and mentorship to become transformational leaders. YPYC is a youth development-oriented NGO focused on engaging, networking, and transforming young people in discussions on leadership and entrepreneurship to achieve national and continental goals.
The Role Models Convocation brought together distinguished role models who have made a lasting impact on people's lives and the world. They were recognized and awarded for their outstanding achievements.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Governing Council and Global Alumni of the Pan-African Leadership Institute, Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, President & Co-founder of the Pan-African Leadership Institute, thanked the organizers and said, "This award will solidify the Institute's resolve and commitment to excellence in leadership development and its impact on the African continent.
